Sold my calves yesterday and got 1.28 for 600 pound steers. I had 4 steers that weighed that much and one that was 885 pounds (he got .94 which is still good). The market is looking good. If you have cattle sell them now before prices drop for the year.
 
buck twenty eight for 6 weights? I was about to say that's a little low but then I remembered I had to convert it to canuck bucks (that's be about $1.50??) Wish I could say the same about prices up here, they're stronger than they've been since BSE but nowhere near that nice! Congratulations
 
Hopefully prices will stay high for the next few years. That way I can build a good stock up. They will go down eventually.

Considering the problem with Japan right now, I'd say that forecast isn't going to happen. What moron packed the spines? They need to ship him/her over the Japan in a similar condition..
