last night i added 20 pounds of live saand to my reef tank.....overnight my nitrates went from about 20 ppm to 0 ppm!!!!! this stuff is awesome!!!!! before i was just using (very finely) crushed coral as substrate. my water is also clearer than it has ever been!!!!! thanx for the idea Blinky!!!! :o :Angel: :cool2:

LOL you're welcome. I found it amazing how fast LS completed the cycle in my 65g, and I can see bubbles forming constantly (NO3 being reduced to free N). I know some people haven't had the same results as we did, I'm so glad it worked for you too :D

yeah i just cant believe how clear the water is now. its like liquid crystal!! plus it seems like most of my "nuisance" algea is starting to die off(maybe due to nitrate reduction??)
