Which members of the Callichthyidae family, if any, would be a good tankmate for a male Convict Cichlid in a 30 gallon tank? Thank you.
 
My convicts dont pick on catfish (none of my cichilds do) I think any would be fine be sure you get them at least 2" though.
 
Thank you, sir! Any in particular that you prefer over others? Actually, I'd like to keep the size down, so something like a standard Pleco would be out. Thanks.
 
A few catfish that I would suggest are Raphael Cats (striped or spotted) very attractive dont get more than 5-6" Syno Cats all species of them are very cool I would suggest getting one that stays smaller, if you want Corys I would get at least 4 of them so you have a school and I like the Bronze ones I dont think they get more than 3-3.5". Make sure you have alot of good hinding spots for any catfish, as they like to hide alot.
