want to add a sump with overflow box to my 3 week old 75 gallon reef tank,

are bio balls in sump(trickle filter i think) a good idea or is my rena xp3 canister better?

if so,I could try just using a 20 gallon aquarium and put in baffles for bubbles.

what size pump is good to return water up 3 or 4 feet to main tank?

one more question, how do you anchor the return line in display tank?

thanks all!

Bio balls suck, all they do is produce Nitrates, if you want anything for media, it would be better to used crushed coral.
