Just wondering what you all have come up with to anchor these fruits and vegies.

I have sometimes impailed squashes , zucchini and cucumbers on pointed pieces of wood/roots that are in the tank or I will simply stick a stainless steel fork in the veg and it drops to the bottom - when the fish have eaten it I lift it up.
Third way is to use a suction cup with a clip for a heater or airline and impail it on that and then stick it to the inside glass.

office clip. yup you read right. i use those black clips with the silver finger tabs. no sharp edges to cut themselves, just heavy enough to sink the food and not got through the substrate.

IMO the best thing is a stainless steal bolt screwed into the bottom of whatever you want to sink works for me evertime.

Depends on my mood... a veggie clip on the side of the tank, a rock and rubberband (replaced often as the bands break after a while in water) or I just blanch the zucchini and drop it in, it sinks to the bottom and gets eaten :)
