I have a coral beauty in my 60 gallon tank with some soft corals. I was told he would eat the corals but he hasn't. I've read it just depends if your angelfish has a taste for corals or not. Luckily mine hasn't tried it.

Coral beauties tend to be one of the safer angels from what I've read. I'd start with a few less expensive frags, give him a few months to see if he leaves them alone, and if he does then dive in. Be prepared though, some people keep angels that are model citizens for more than a year and then suddenly develop a taste for corals.

I'd have to second Blinky, I've had many Coral Beauties none of them have touched "coral", but I know one CB that had to go into a fish only tank. I'd say go for it keep the animal well fed and a close eye, and you'll most likely be fine.

Yep, 70% of them are reef safe acording to a poll on RC, some of the keys to keep them safe are:
Try and get some algae growing in your tank
and feed them well

well one thing is that so far i havent got any algae growing in the tank. blue tangs leave corals alone right ? i really have no idea about corals ... do i need any special lighting ? i already have blue and white light .. im changing to a better lighting fixture next month.. i need to feed the corals with plankton right ? i have this deal a a local marine fish farm... 3 assorted corals for 10 singapore dollars.. and one of them sorta looks like an anemone with a star at the end of its tentacles.. i kinda like it .. if i find pictures online.. i'll post it ..
