:help: I have three albino cory cats in my community tank. A couple weeks ago I thought one of them was dead, :( he was just laying there, almost on his side. He stayed like that for quite a while so I got out the net and tried to scoop him up. As soon as the net was near him, he just took off swimming like crazy. :thm: Well it's been a couple weeks now and I have been noticing that now all three of my albinos are doing the same thing? Just hanging out for periods of time, laying on the gravel or inside one of their caves, then they swim around all crazy, chasing each other, and seem fine. My levels are fine, Ammonia0/Nitrite0/Nitrate20. I'm wondering if they are not getting enough O2? Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

My panda cories act like that, too. I was under the impression that it was just normal zany cory-ness. Sometimes mine will even sleep sorta on their sides like you described. Maybe they're so mellow they just don't care how goofy they look. >_>

That sound sperfectly normal to me. Mine lay around a lot for long periods of time and depending on the current level will often lean to one side or the other. My female albino has a very round belly and often can't lay flat.

As long as they are eating and still swimming I wouldn't worry, they have to rest sometimes.

Thank you all for your responses!! Now that I know this is normal I'll stop worrying!!
