My angelfish's right pectoral fin looks terrible. Probably between 40 - 50% of it is gone. She's in a tank with 2 gouramis and at first they were giving her a hard time, but I think they were just trying to figure her out. I've had her for a couple of days and they don't seem to mess with her anymore. Could her fin had been damaged by my gouramis, or could this be fin rot?

Both, most likely. Fin rot is usually a sign of stress and/or poor water conditions. It can also develop as a secondary infection from another disease or injury.
Since you did see your gouramis bothering her, I suspect they injured her fin and the stress of the injury and the bullying brought on fin rot.
If you can, quarantine her until her fins are all better.
IMHO she should not be in the same tank as kissing gouramis at all. They can be very aggressive.

ok, so I have another question. Hypothetically speaking, if her right fin rotted completly off, and this is probably the most rediculous thing I've ever asked in my life, but would Mr. Speckles be ok?? I can only assume that the quaility of life for a fish with only one pectoral fin is poor. So worst case scenario, her fin goes bye bye...Do I have her euthanized?..euthinized?..however you spell it..or can I keep her?

That will depend on whether or not the damage extends past the pectoral fin. If it is only the fin itself that is damaged, it will regrow.
The 30g is too small to have kissing gouramis in and since they will need at least a 65g tank, why not upgrade them and let Mr. Speckles have the 30g?

yeah thats what i'm doing. I'm going next week to get all the stuff for my 60g gourami tank. It was my plan all along because I knew the 30 would be too small for them but I needed a starter fish. I got these when they were about 2 inches long. now they are probably 3 or a little over 3 inches.
