LOL. Title says it all. My sister in law was asking about Japanese Medekas that they are apparently hatching in science class. She wanted to know if she could keep them in the family tank at home. I had honestly never heard of them before so I googled it and came upon a hit at killies.com. (I've googled a bunch, but I still don't know much...feel free to inform with personal experience. I did note that I would avoid her having them however, so it doesn't really matter.)

Problem is, that site says I've been banned! I mean, I had to do something really GOOD to get banned from there since I've never even heard of it before tonight :girl:

I just thought that was rather strange.

Do you belive in reincarnation? Maybe in a past life you were a troll in there :P

theres a option to ban by isp
also consider this ip addresses circulate unless its a static ip you may have adopted a banned ip address

and yeah i been banned before its easy to get unbanned but useually not worth the trouble

i have a problem with saying what i think reguardless of anyone elses postcount, and typically some people assume once they get a high enuff post count its a licence to be a "very unfriendly word" and they become a bully, so i exspose them for being jerks and give then a verbal thrashing without profinity , direct insults , or anything that could be considered a direct attack on them as a person. and 90% of the time the group mentality will kick in and thier buddies will start insulting and calling names without hardly even reading the post in question. and all the people with small postcounts see this as a oppertunity to kiss*** and insult hoping to be accepted into the in crowd. then i laugh at them while i realize its just a forum like the other 1000 forums on the topic and ill never meet these people and they really dont matter. so ill let them get worked up and occasionally throw in some non combative bait so they can show everyone what ive already told them.

then eventually i get a letter from the admin apologizing telling me its easier to ban one person right or wrong than to ban an entire group thats been around a while then eventually i see those people on a new forum and they dont say a word to me because there i have more post or whatever and they lost their bully license and they tell everyone how their old forum fell to peices and im sitting back thinking "you dont think" . but being forgiving and loving person i dont push the issue on the other forum and let them be till they eventually lose interest not being able to pick fights or bully people.

theres a couple safe forums

this one
mantidforum.com or something like that
digitalrebelforum.com its changed to digitalslrforum. something
there was an art forum
and something else im forgetting

long story short im not skeered of bullies. luckly this forum seems to not be likt that very much.

Yah who knows. I have aol so my IP isn't static, but the odds of me getting a banned IP has gotta be pretty slim!

Maybe tonight I'll sign off and back on (hence under a new IP) and try again!

LOL at Daveedka:) Well I'm glad someone's keepin' an eye on ya:D

lol AOL is the most banned ISP on the net.

That explains it. Every AOL user comes up with like 1 of 3 different IPs. You ban a single AOL user and you pretty much ban them all.
