Pearl Gourami - Nest Built

Hope i am asking this question in the right forum ... here it goes ... i have a pair of Pearl Gouramis that are ready to mate ... I've separated them into their own tank and the male has built a nest , how can i tell when eggs are in the nest so that i can remove the female , considerin the size of the eggs they will be hard to notice ????

they should be smaller and slightly darker than the bubbles (or so my gouramis have been)
