I went over to a friends yesterday to help out with some maintenance on his 125g fw. He wanted me to help him clean his fluval, since he had never done it before. I gave him some crap, because it had been 3-4 months since I helped him set it up. Anyways, we pulled the filters out and started to rinse them. I noticed something at the bottom of the cartridge, and asked if there was a dead fish in there? Assuming it was dead, I told him to grab it, or poke it
, then it moved! It was a blue lobster, about 2 inches long.
He had a lobster that had babies a few months ago, but he also had a bicher, and a goby at the time that ate them. This lucky guy was sucked up by the fluval, and then he lived in it until yesterday. The bicher and the goby were removed a few weeeks ago, so now he can live peacefully in the tank.
