I got a small bunch of this stemmed plant, described only as "hardy" by the LFS employee (he apologized for not remembering the name). He basically threw it in with my purchase as they were out of some other things for which I was shopping.

Granted, hardy can mean "grows well in any light" as well as "you will have to burn down your #%*! house to get rid of it." So I was wondering if this was a good plant to have ... a name is a good place to start I guess :)

Thanks in advance for the help!

Ludwigia?

moneywort?

Not really sure.

Here is a site, you could compare them better then we could.

I was thinking something ending in "wort" and looking at the stemmed plants on that site seemed to indicate moneywort as being likely ... I primarily wanted to exclude things that would be nuisances. :)

I'm going to agree, it looks like moneywort.

We'll go with moneywort then :) I don't have the best visual differentiation skills so I feel better that knowledgeable people concur (on the plant, not my eyesight ... though you're free to do that as well! LOL).

it almost looks like "Baby Tears" as well.
