I was wondering if Sagiteria (sp?) would make a good replacement for my Giant Val. The tank is lit with 2 wpg and has CO2 injection. I dose weekly with Kent Freshwater Plant after a 50% waterchange. The substrate is just plain old gravel though the plant will be planted in peat. Giant Val grew like crazy in this tank until I killed it with salt (strange since val is supposed to be salt tolerable and my swordplants which are supposed to be intolerable to salt did not notice).
