I decided I will buy a new tank as a marine one, but I dont want to spend $100 for a JBJ nano.

I found this 6g nano on ebay for a lot cheaper and I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these. I cant find anything about them online. The heater for the extra $7 is an orcatech, does anyone know whether they are good heaters?6g nano (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7738149277&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT)

your best bet depending on if you have the room would be go to a pet store and pick things up seperatly like a 10gal tank (provided you have the room I use a 5.5 gal tank)get a Aquaclear filter and go to the DIY section and find the plans for the hang on the back refigum ( I just made one it is fairly simple and not that time consuming) and get a 9" corallife PC light average price for that is about 34 dollars tank will run you about 10 and the filter will run about 40 (get the AC 70 or 110) I mean its personal preferance but thats another way to go and easier to upgrade componets in the future if you wanted too but the most important thing before you do anything is make sure you know what your want before you jump in and start buying things.

Thanks, should I also get live rock and live sand for the tank?

I would agree I built a hang on the back refuigm and put some live rock rubble and live sand in there and now I am looking at trying to find some where to get some macro algae to add to it but I also am running a canister filter plus I have about 5bls of live rock and some live sand mixed in with regular play sand as a substrate in my tank and you couldnt ask for clearer water and instead of doing water changes once a week my levels stay steady for about 2 1/2 weeks about a 1 1/2 more then most tanks this size.

Im still trying to decide whether I want to jump into starting a saltwater tank. It seems like a big investment, and I've already spent a lot on my 20 gal. I also might not have enough time to properly care for it and I'm leaving next year so a new tank would be another thing to worry about.
