I've had my celestial, bubble eye and two moors for just over a week. And suddenly today my celestial has come down with some sort of stress... He's exhausted possibly from his ordeal with getting stuck in the plant overnight, and getting stuck in it again this morning. Is he just stressed and exhausted from all that? Because currently he is resting on the gravel, not floundering slightly above. Which concerns me a lot.
Today I did a small water change and added a tablespoon of salt into the tank.... Is there anything i can do to help him? Or is this a lost case?
Hi Fillet
I'm only a newbie here, but I reckon that anyone who could help you is going to want to know if you have cycled your tank, and what your test readings (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate) are.
The people here really seem to know what they are talking about :bowing: - I have spent hours reading threads here since joining a few weeks ago! So listen to any advice they give, do your research, and good luck with your fish!

Yea, in order to help, the info one needs to know is; how big is your tank, are you properly doing water changes and tests to make sure your cycle is not wearing on the fish, , what do you use chemical wise, etc. One teaspoon of salt isn't going to do anything...you have to have a certain ratio..and , if your fish keps getting caught, I suggest you should take the plant out. WHat do you mean by small water change?
We can't really help unless we know what the other issues are.

If the tank is a week old, it's probobly cycling. Same questions as above, though.
