OK... this is a continuation of the saga with my red-tail shark not getting along with any other fish...

So I'm thinking... maybe the shark would get along w/my Upsidedown catfish... cause they never bothered each other before when the shark was growing up... and the catfish seems pretty aggressive in defending his territory in the other tank...

Within seconds of letting the catfish go free into the shark tank the shark was chasing, ramming, and otherwise totally destroying the catfish...

I got him out quick, but as I was netting him I noticed a missing "antenna" and a cut near his fin. =( I'm not sure if I did this while netting, if the shark did it, if he cut himself on a plastic plant tryin to get away from the shark, or if it was there before this whole debacle started (I dont' see the catfish too much cause he stays hidden most of the time).

So now I've got him in my QT/Hospital tank for observation... he seems to be swimming around normally (upside down) but it looks kinda bad...

Keeping my fingers crossed that it's actually a cut and not some kind of flesh-eating bacteria that I never noticed before.

I will try to get pictures soon... but assuming that it is just a regular injury (cut himself on a plant) what should I do to help him? Just keep him in the QT tank? Any meds?

Thanks.
