Thanks For All The Help,
Maybe You Can Help Me Out With This Question As Well, I Read All Different Views On Water Treatment/quality. Just Need To Know, Can I Use Tap Water For First Fill Of My Tank [new York Water] Or Do I Have To Or Should Buy One Of These Roid Filter's [alot Ofmoney].

RO/di or even DI units for water purification are prefered, there are normally nitrates, phosphates and chlorine in tap water which will cause pain for you in the long run. it will be cheaper for you to buy a Deionizing unit or a Reverse Osmosis in the long run, instead of using chemicals to fix up your tap water. And RO/DI units can be picked up for about $120 and Deionizing units are a bit more.

i would have to recommend an ro unit for everything. like mysis said there are many chemicals in tap water that are deadly to fish. you can actually get some pretty nice ro/di units off ebay for less then 100 bucks and thats with the shipping. like mysis said in the long run these will actually save you money.

i was in a lighting store another day and see this LED light is very bright, just wondering if i can use them to light my fish and live rock tnak.
