i have a eclipse 12 with the standered light and its not strong enougfh for corals and such now i have an extra eclipse 12 ballast if i run both of those will that be enough light?
I can't answer your question specifically, but I can say that the light produced by my Eclipse 12 (which serves as my refugium) is quite "un-reef-like" in color. Has a yellowish cast to it. I wonder if a different color temp. bulb is available?
