I have 2 Honduran Red Points in a 25... Lots of lava rock and driftwood built up so there's plenty of cave-like hiding/breeding spots. Recently, they had a brood of HRP-lings.
I siphoned up their brood into a 2.5, they've got a cycled sponge filter (the sponge filter's been in their regular tank preparing for the fry). I had to move the driftwood and the rocks around, but I got about 15 or so. There's still probably a couple in the main tank.
I did a 50% water change and algae spot cleaning after.
How long will they be stressed/angry? Or are they just gonna get back down to business?
I have liquid fry food and I'm going to start another culture of brine shrimp... Aside from being very careful when doing a water change, is there any advice for a new dad?
