Ich looks like small white spots on your fish. Kinda like your fish has grains of salt on it. You can treat it with salt and by increasing the temp. of the tank. Check out this thread...

Have you ever seen one of those Goldfish crackers? The salted pretzel ones? That's what ich looks like.

Here is a picture of one of my fish who recently got cured of ich. The white spots sometimes look like raised pimples. Also take note on how inflamed this fish's gills are from ich parasites eating away at the gill tissue. The only method that I've had a 100% success rate on curing ich with is the salt method described in David's article which Roan kindly linked to. This fish I showed you is alive and happier than ever thanks to the gentle salt method of curing ich. This specific fish is a white skirt tetra which is one of the more sensitive fish species and intolerant to about all commericial ich remedies out there.
