i've got 3 spotted scats. they are about 3.5-4inches each. one of them has become very mean and is bullying the others. even while they eat. so ultimately neither does he eat properly nor does he allow the others to eat. he keeps on chasing them. moreover....he has started chasing other fishes nearby.

when separated, the other two keep chasing each other n the same thing goes on.

wat could b the possible reason for this aggression ?

This should probably be posted in the brackish forum.

that's scats for ya. in my experience, you need a group of them (5-6) to help dimish the behaviour you're seeing. hopefully you're keeping these fish in a brackish environment?

no i havent kept them in brackish envi (thts the reason y i posted this in the general fresh water section). i do know dat they need brackish conditions but they r doing very well in my freshwater tank and its been almost 10months. they've really grown up fast and show no sign of weakness or anything. so i didnt feel like shifting them into a brackish tank.

Scats are ok as juveniles in FW but need to be adjusted to brackish as they mature and full marine as adults. At 10 months old, they really should be going brackish.
