Hi...
I have 4 fancy goldfish in a 10 gallon (too small, I know) aquarium. They get a 40% water change twice a week and are very healthy and happy. However, they spawn entirely too much. I've only had them for 2 months and they have already spawned 4 times! There are 3 males and one female, and when the mood strikes, the males chase the female relentlessly (sometimes violently) until she drops eggs. Is there any way, short of removing her when this starts, to get them to quit spawning? Some water additive, maybe? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
