So I walk into a LFS that was highly recomended by a friend because of their plant selection, big mistake. I knew it was a bad sign As I walked in and noticed the owner stare me down as if I was going to run off with someting. Anyways I saw 2 of the most ugliest sights a fish lover could see....A Red Tailed Catfish about 3 feet in a 4 foot tank. The second one was a tank of Parrot Fish, about 15 total in a 40 gallon tank. Oh, it gets uglier, all 15 where a peach color and where dyed with a Valentine's message. I (heart) U.....
As soon as I saw that, I forgot about the "painted" tetras and catfishes. I want to know who was the genius who decided to dye these poor fishes with the purpose of being sold as a Valentine's gift. Has anyone seen these before?
Ah, sorry to vent. :mad2:
