ok i know there are threads about disappearing tetras i searched but they all seem to have a likely culprit for a tank make.

i have one missing neon- nowhere to be found gravel vacumed furniture moved only six no body

i have no predators in my tank juvenile swords almost 2 in, corys the largest of which is 2.5 in., and six other neons, there's no way the juvenile amonos got him, the pleco was introduced after he went missing so there's no way he had a hand in it.

i scoured the floor- can't find him anywhere, no pets to eat him off the ground

is it possible he died nad got eaten by the others but where did his bones go?

totally baffled -Kyle

I once lost a small corycat and saw no trace of him or his bones. I blamed a relativaly large goldfish, but you seem to have no predators in there.

Are there cats around the house?

I had that happen with a 3" long congo tetra once. I later found out my cat ate it and hid the head under the bath mat he sleeps on.
