im setting up a 10g sw tank and i dont want to use tap water and im too poor to buy an RO, so can i use bottled water? is purified water RO? my supermarket sells Purified water, spring water and distilled water, which is best to use?
also can live rock be used in low lighting? i dont plan on any corals, just 2 damsel fish and maybe a turbo snail
 
Personally i would go with the bottled water because its already purified (depending on which brand)
Could get costly thought
 
Purified water is RO, so I went with that before I got my own unit.

If you don't have any photosynthetic organisms, low light is fine. I have been amazed at how little light coralline algae needs to thrive.
