Bet you were curious about that one, eh? ;)

I've seen my rainbows on more than one occassion playing in the CO2 bubbles. Biting them, swimming in them, chasing each other through them. Is this harmful to them at all? I'm more concerned about the juvies I have that seem to like to bite them. Could they be "swallowing" them as well? Just passing them through their gills? Maybe I have fishy diffusers :)

It's not just my Boesemani kids that do this, but my Duboulayi and Parva juvies do it as well.

If it's harmful all my fish should be dead. They've been swimming through a fine mist of CO2 for years......no complaints yet. :)

Perhaps they've found a "Fish High" to indulge in.

What are the immediate effects of fish taking in CO2?
