i picked up a few new plants for my aquariums today, got home and started looking them up only to discover what i bought is not really an aquarium plant? the one is question is called mondo grass--should i remove this? (and is so, what should i do with it? lol, plant it in a pot?)

one of the other plants im having a hard time id'ing looks like a little palm tree --i mean, palm type fronds, with a thin stem though..does anyone know what this is?
the girl who sold them to me had no idea what it was, but i liked the look of it.

thanks for any help

Mondo grass is not an aquarium plant.

As for the other one, can you post a picture? It's worth a thousand words :)

Why, thank you :)

Unfortunately I lost Jakers a month ago to complications from a severe bout of ich. The ich cleared, but Jakers was just never the same after that and wasted away :(

I revamped his tank and have baby platys in there now. I do miss Jakers, though.

anyway, an hour later, i finally retrieved the pic from my camera, lol.

heres the mystery plant..if its another non-aquarium plant i swear im going to have a tantrum. i already called petcetra and complained about the mondo grass, the manager said she would "look into it" (like as if)
