I was wondering if anyone has experience with a Haian Anenome? If so what is good or bad about them. I noticed they are very cheap and was thinking about trying one to see how it goes. I know you need good lighting and they need to be fed but thats about all that Fosters and smith said. I havent had much luck finding really specific information, its all been very vauge.
Thanks Erik

I had a maroon clown that would go into a Condy as well as a torch, hammer, bubble coral, and about anything else that was close to a true anenome. Problem is it is luck of the draw. I wouldn't buy these to host clowns as you will probably buy a clown that won't take to it.

They are easy to keep. They wander around the tank a bit. Mine would not attach firmly to any surface (and was inadvertently killed by being sucked up a siphon tube while cleaning the tank). They can go long periods without feeding, but they contract and the tentacles look like it's "drying up". I fed mine twice a week and it was enough to keep it supple and happy. They can grow very large. They are also known as Condylactus or "condy" anemonaes.
