I saw two types of Green Terrors. One has orange at the end of it's fins and another has white at the edge  What's the difference? Two different subspecies? ...just tinkering...

Maybe a White Saum?? Similar to Green Terror isn't it? I'm not tooooo entire sure about this.. Don't hold me to it ;)

Cylon has in his avatar a standard orange tip GT.

Gian Krlo has in his avatar a white tip GT.

You can see the pics in the other threads. I also saw the two types in the LFS, and the guy there said that the white edged one might be inbread or manmade, and the orange edged is called "royal GT"

its very simple: Orange Seam = comman
White Seam = a little rarer than the orange

but both of them are the same species, same requirements and what-not

I agree with managuay86 plus there is a more rare one from what I have read called a True Green Terror. I beleive it looks like a white saum. I am still doing research on that however.

I've never seen a white seam on in any FS is SoCal. I wish I could get my hands on one.

out of the thousands of green terrors Ive seen only like 5 where white seams and it was at a petstore down here called "fountains aquariums" I think they were charging like $15 for a 2 inch white seam. Kinda pricy since the orange seam look a lot better anyway. :p:

re:

for me the white and gold saums are beautiful.... i have seen true GT in Ecuador, they have white edges like white saum!... i like cyclon GT and mine... but cyclon's GT is beautiful :joke:

i will post the pic of a full grown up GT that i saw at the petshop, that GT was for $80.he was so big!!!(bigger than an oscar), ill try to post a pic... if the petshop didnt send it to another one :)

I have a 6'' GT just like Cylon's.

I saw in the LFS 5-6 white GTs around 3'' for $20/Ea

I'm thinking of getting a white one too :D

How can I find out which one is a male and which one is a female? What would happen if an orange breeds with a white one!?
