OK so i am looking for a nice foreground grass like plant. The "true" Dwarf hairgrass Eleocharis parvula (that only grows up to 4") seems like a nice choice. Problem - i cannot find any place that sells it. There is one seller on aquabid and i find $7 (current bid - who knows might sell for more) for a tiny bunch a bit much.
Does anyone know of a source thats affordable for at least enough to start some kind of forground or is this another case of where i just cant afford the plant i like. :(

Personally, I have bought it at PetQuarters. But, it's still 6.99 for a pot of it. Alternatively, Home Depot apparently sells it in the aquatic ponds area...but I'd venture a guess it's out of season now.

I would just try some aquatic plant stores (like www.aquabotanic.com) or post on aquatic plant forums (such as www.aquaticplantcentral.com) in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.
