My wife and I took the kiddies to the only LFS in our little town tonight (besides a PETCO).....I always thought they were the best place in town to buy fish. But I could not believe my eyes tonight.
First the birds were in BAD SHAPE..one had either been pecked almost featherless of had done it himself...and they didn't remove him for his own safety...when my wife said something to the store keep, she kind of laughed and said, yea he's not looking so good.
Then the fish..they must have just gotten in a shipment, but there were plastic bags full of terrible looking fish all over the floor on the hard cold concrete....then I went to look at the fish in the tanks and about half of the tanks had one or more dead fish in them...and a tank with bristlenose plecos, they were all dead or dying. Just a mess, I would NEVER buy another fish or any pet there as long as I live....My local PETCO is heaven compared to this place. Anyone else have a LFS like this?
