About three months ago I noticed one of my glow light tetra had lost much of its color. A week or so later, I came home from work to find it twitching on the substrate. This fish had a white growth above one of its eyes for almost the entire time i had it, about 8 months before it lost color (though the lump never grew after I first noticed it).
After euthenizing that fish, I had no other incidents until last week. Another of my tetra had lost its color. This fish had no growth. Yesterday I came home from work to find it twitching at the bottom of the tank.
What's going on? How should I treat the tank, besides normal water changes?
