Anyone have an opinion on these eels. I have heard that they are highly aggressive, but how would they fair in an aggressive tank? I am thinking of getting one to put into my 100 gallon tank with my goldentail.....any opinions?

I would go with a bigger tank, will be ok with Lionfish, Triggers, large angels, Big Tangs and pther big fish :) but i would go with a bigger tank.

Gymnothorax fimbriatus would be fine in a 100 gallon tank, although you might not be able to keep it with your goldentail, keeping 2 morays in the same aquarium often doesn't work. (with the exception of mated pairs and some species)

The same general care of Gymnothorax Morays applies to G. Fimbriatus. Small fish will be eaten, copper is deadly, etc.

But to have a predator aquarium he would need to go bigger IMO, singly it would be ok but not with more fish.
