I have learned quit abit lately from hands on experience. For one I have attached the false plants to the celling of the vivarium creating a vine effect, perfect far a flying gecko. Also, my toad went into himernation And was found today. As well, I have never realy known any thing about electronics, but managed to unscrue my filters and fix the clog.

But the main lesson here learned was learned the hard way. I held off adding bwater to the cichlid tank because by mom kept telling me not to, because we would swich out the water with water from a place that suplies nitrate/triteless, reverse osmosis water. It got so low that the filters would not work. This morning I found my first bloodparrot, the 7 inch favorate fish dead along with the five inch sevrum. The managuese was colorless at the bottom flat on its side, barly fighting to live. I had enough! I took the managuese to one of the well oxeginated tanks and held it uprigh below the surface by hand for a half an hour then but in a diveider and learned him aginst the glass to keep it upright. My efforts payed off , as each hour passed, his breathing is better and getting less pale. I know not tohold off anything for even a few days and to not instantly give up on a sick fish. They will have to share the 30 until i set up their 55 again.
