I was just wondering what everybody thought about using vitamins to feed their fish, and which kind they like to use. I bought the vita-chem vitamins that you put in the water and on their food (a little hard for flakes and pellets, just clumps them togther then turn to mash), usually soak it with brine. I havent put it in the water yet, but i thought that in the food is enough. The reason that i bought it was that on the label it saind that it helps with lateral line disease, and that is what i have. I know that it wont cure them, but does it help or is it just a waste of money. i would imagine that it doesnt hurt to have more vitamins in their diet, and would make them healthier, and more resistant to disease. Your insight will be much appreciated. :dive2:

I use the liquid centrum multivitamins from the drug store. I soak some pellets in it and feed to my Oscar. It's about $8/bottle and I use just a tiny bit of it and water to soak the pellets.
