My brother finally let me use his forty tall. Right now, It is a holding tank for my fish while i swap out the water in their tanks. The question is what to do after after that is done.

A. Move the blackskirt school (silver dollar included), dojo loach school, and the danio school to the 40.

B. try something new by getting gold killies, a pea puffer, some large khuli loach, a few small yoyo loach and a farlowella. Usually I hate khulis, but there are some fat ones about 2 and a half inches long, And I have found that the dig into the gravel to get the waste the average cleaner dosen't

Sorry but i do not know how to make a poll.

id go with the puffers... very cool fish that ive been thinking about getting for a setup...

but moving all of those schools would free up your other tanks nicely!

(ps, how do all three of your synodontis get along in your 55 gallon?)

They fight often, but have only been together a day. I had to move oneinto the tank while mine was under reconstruction. The funny thing is, the one i added used to bully the other 5" syno, and almost killed the eurpterus, but know the little guy is getting revenge3 times as bad. he better hope the eurpterus doesn't want revenge to. In the end, the eurpterus and the lace will be in the cichlid tank.

I know the moving of the tetras and everything would be best, I just wanted to try something different. But know i realize that I can do it all! keep the blackskirts, danios and dojos in the 40 tall, and dig out some extra equipement to set up the ten gallon for the puffer and more yoyos and khulis with small good looking fish to fill the top and middle. then get the killies for the vivarium after the water is raied to about 6 inches. Sound good? the store sells them cheap: $5 for the pea puffer, $3 each for the killies, $2 for yoyos,$4 for large khulis, and 10" farlowellas are $6 each
