How to get dead black hair algae off rocks.

I've got 2 rocks that i've boiled and killed all the blackhair algae. I've even let them dry but they black hair won't come off. Can't really scrub it off either. What can i do?
 
the rock is black =(.. i wonder if theres some sort of water soluble chemical i can use to dissolve it off or something or maybe i can use fire to burn it off

maybe try moss killer which is used for outside terraces etc. I haven't used it myself though, and I think it would be wise to rince the rock thorougly afterwards;
 
I toss anything with hair algae in the sink with bleach/water, then use a scrub brush to scrub it off. You will have to rinse them off using a dechlorinator afterwards....I've had pretty good success getting that stuff off that way.
