Can Fin rot spread from my angles to clown loaches?

I have been recently setting up a planted 125 gal. comm. tank.

I have (7) small clown loaches in there, (4) Small Koi angles, and a couple of pleco's

I just added 4 days ago (5) addition angles. And everyday I was loosing one of the new angles.

There back fins looked a little thin, but not rotting or anything.
Well the last one has just about no back fin, and the back fins on my other angles look like they might be getting it.

What would be the best thing to do, treating the whole 125 would be expensive and it is full of plants.

Could I take out the 5 angles and treat them in a 10 gal? I have a medicine that I plan to use (Maracyn and Maracyn two) I planned on using them both.

Also will the clown loaches get the fin or tail rot and my 2 pleco's?

Alright,
I took my angle out of my 125 to treat in a 10 gallon (much cheaper).

Do I still need to treat my 125 to get rib of this?
Or should I just wait a week or so then try adding more fish?

Any advise would be appreciated.

What are your water parameters?
Things like fin-rot are normally related to poor water quality?

Finrot isn't contagiuos. Its caused by bad water quality, stress, and or is a secondary infection.

They probably weren't in the best shape when you received them.

Seperating them to another tank was the 1st step. 2nd step will be to make sure the water is perfect for the next few weeks, at least until you see that they're no longer rotting and starting to regrow.

Meds usually aren't needed but if you feel that its bad enough, like getting close to the body then a weeks worth of melafix would be okay to use IMO.
