I have a clown loach that i decided must be good at hiding since i havent seen him in two days ( I have a rock that has lots of holes going through it and they get in there sometimes) so i wasnt too worried about him. I just got home from work and couldnt see him so i started moving things to se if i could scare him out of hiding ...he had wedged himself under a rock and was stuck..i have moved him to my quarenteen tank he is alive but laying on his side on the bottom and breathing very rapidly ..is there something i can do to help him or should i euthanize him and put him out of misery ????
thanks http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=2#

Keep his water clean and make sure he has lots of oxygen. Use an airstone. Keep the light off in his tank and make sure he's in a spot where he won't get startled easily.

Clowns are pretty resiliant, very possible he'll recover fine.
