feeding what kind of food, or just in general?
i like feeding my pacus and the blue acaras too. but the pacus are awesome to watch eat, especially home grown guppy feederes. when you feed mine pellets they will sometimes come up to the surface and "beg" by putting their mouths out of the water and let me drop pellets in and tubifex cubes whole.

Not a cichlid but have you ever seen a snakehead eat. That is pretty incrdible. I saw a large on a little while ago and realized why else they call them a snake head. They coil and attack.

my freind also had a snakehead that recently died it was about 2 feet long and it was great to watch eat. they are now illegal in New york and i think in most if not all of the united states
they actually had a snakehead for sale at our local petsmart a few months ago....for 7 bucks!!

Found this one out the hard way, but Dimidiochromis compressiceps, also known as the Malawi Eye Eater, does just that. One of them at the LFS I work at took a couple of his tankmates before being seperated. Stupid mistake...

my gar was my favorite fish to watch feed, until it got a firemouth stuck in its throat that was about half the size of the gar.

my 4' silver aro you had to wear a wet suit to feed the **** thing.
My eel coils and strikes. It eats like a pig , especially shrimp pieces and fish scraps.
Never had any great whites but I did see the special on how they feed off of South Africa when they go airborn and launch sealions.
I don't have a tank that big but I'm thinking pond here....

I would say my dempseys sticking their heads out of the water with mouths open waiting for me to drop food in .
or my old Managenes(sp?) swimming around the tank with 3 feeders in his mouth .
