I have 96W!!!

Not that anyone is interested but I'm excited :D . I got my ahsupply retrofit 1x96 and after messing wtih it for a while I called up my more experienced dad. He does a lot of elictrical/carpentry work so I knew he would figure it out. It certainly was more complicated than I expected. It was a tight fit with the ballast and reflector, not really enough room but we made it fit with some mods made to the reflector. It came out looking really good but my hood was just a bit narrower than what was preferable.

The good news is it works and I have 96W. I also have everything I need for my co2 injection. Now if my cycle will EVER finish I can actually do something with the tank.....

You don't have to wait for everything to zero out before adding plants; NH3 is actually their preferred source of nitrogen so unless it's sky high, go nuts! Wait until things settle and the plants are growing (and, therefore, soaking up the ammonia/nitrate) before you add fish though.
