Possible tank mates

I am thinking in a 5 gallon tank. i have been thinking of putting a betta and a honey gourami or a dwarf gourami. Would these be good tank mates for a 5 gallon.

as long as that is a female betta your talking about then yes, will be tight but yeah, that will work

Actually I was thinking about a male betta. I have never seen a female betta. I also have another question for my 55 gallon tank can i add a snakeskin gourami with a dwarf gourami, and angel, and tetras??

I have a female betta and male dwarf gourami in my 5 1/2g and they do fine, however, a male betta and male dwarf gourami may not get along (especially in a small tank). It is possible though, depending on the fishes' temperament.
