I am a huge Bond fan. I own all of the movies and watch them regularly. What is your favorite Bond movie and actor?

Personally, I like 'From Russia With Love' and obviously Sean Connery as Bond.

I only watch Sean Connery Bond films, because they fit my idea of the Bond character & stay truer to author Ian Fleming's book versions...Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and all the newer Bonds just seem a little bit 'wussy' to me. I also dig the swinging 60's vibe of the early Connery movies.

Having said that, I'm very curious about the new guy they have lined up for "Casino Royale". I think they're looking for an edgier Bond this time.
 
Being I so young (26... he he he), I've only seen Pierce Brosnan as James Bond in theathers, so it's something like the base to compare the others. I've seen in my house Moore's and Conery's films, and those lack the action I see in the newer movies. Personally, Die another Day is my favorite.

I totally agree with you in that order. Sean Connery is definately my favorite Bond.
 
Ya know, Moore was actually supposed to be the first choice, but was already signed to do 'The Saint'. He grew up in the same areas and went to the same schools as Bond. Or so I've heard.
I like Moore, but Connery is the best Bond.
The new guy is scared of guns!
 
Yea I head the gun thing with the new Bond. Seems kind of strange.

From what I know, the new movie "Casino Royale" is supposed to be set at the beginning of Bond's career as an agent, so things will be a bit different from the other movies.

We'll just have to see how Daniel Craig does as Bond.

As an owner of all the bond movies, I cant really say I have a distinct favorite. Lazenby I did not really like at all. But the others I felt all brought something different to the table, and they all portrayed him in an interesting way.

I really like Sean Connery as an actor, liked him in the Bond role, and really like some of the stuff he has gone on to do. I think I liked him in "Hunt for Red October" better than him as Bond.

I suppose age has something to do with this, Roger Moore was Bond when I was more inclined to go to the movies to see a film. I probably liked him more as Bond than Connery.

I thought Pierce Brosnan was perfect for the Bond role and was rather disappointed they didn't cast him in it before they did. I really liked him in "The Thomas Crown Affair"..

Didn't particularly care for the others.
