well i picked to up, they were in less than 3oz of water :( how dumb are? They have empty tanks so why dont they put the femails in the tanks? any way i think one of the 2 that i bought might have pop eye? or really big dark eyes. here are some crappy pics that i snaped... sorry for the crappy pics but it wasnt my day at taking pics..

Could be wrong, but my understanding is that the females can be quite aggressive with each other, too. And many stores have them separated from each other as well. Same one per bowl/tank rule applies as with the males. I don't know if this opinion/practice is correct or not.

From what the pictures show, I don't think your fish have pop eye.

I dont think its the same. My lfs keeps all thier females in one tank, and they seem to get along well. And Im sure they are females, just poked a joke about them being males with horribly picked away fins

oh ok... didnt think so cuz she could see good, eat. the containers didnt say femail... they were cheaper and had smaller fins..so you could be right, but i dont think so because i put them together in a 1L tank for a hour and they didnt fight. so i moved them to my 20 gal with my 1 other femail. I think i will try to spawn the white one 1st, what do you think? here is the male... pics are old
