I would like to make my own wet/dry/sump filter for my 90 Gal. tank. I don not want to drill the tank if I can help it. I don't have a problem with actually building the filter, but how to get the water in and out without overflowing, is my concern. If you have any ideas, and even better some pictures, that would be great. Thanks, Rich

I think your lookign for the Marineland Tidepool S.O.S Skimmer Box or something like it? Hangs over the side of the tank and siphons? Morgunda has made a couple, check out his seahorse thread (I think)

Well, i would like to make the actuall sump. But as far as getting the water in and out, i dont know what to do. I would like to make some sort of overflow type device, but I really dont want to drill the tank. I know I can do an over the wall type pipe system, but Im not sure how well that would work. What if it were to gel a large air pocket in the pipe, I think it would stop drainind down inot the sump.
