About 9 months or so ago, i purchased a lil tiny female kennyi from meijers. actually i got two of them but one died, as i learned most fish from meijers do. anyways... i then purchashed what i thought was a male kennyi. The female grew to about two inches long and stayed female, we put the male in the tank and all the sudden my beautiful female turned.. she errr he, is now 5 inches long and the biggest fish in my tanks. the other one, the male i got to breed with my female has now changed too.. he has an eggspot, he has very dark bars, and is almost an orange color, with alot of blue hue. my big beautiful yellow barless male, is always trying to mate with this other fish. could this other fish possibly be a cross breed of some sort, and if it is.. what could it be? if it was male, my fish wouldnt try to breed with it, would it ? if i could figure out how to load a picture of it, i would.. but if you think you might be able to help me figure out what this fish is, i do have pictures and can email it to you, my email is naughtygryns@aol.com i would really like some feed back on this. also, my female sunshine peacock has bred with my electric blue alhi... is this normal for fish to cross breed like this? the eggs are hatched and she is still carrying them, in a week we will strip her of them.. im very interested in seeing these fish, especially the males.
