Ok I want to make sure I'm not going overboard...you know, the more fish you have the more you want.

My 30 gal long amazon tank. Right now I have 4 cories (2 arctuatus, 1 isbrueckeri? and 1 that looks like it but with a vertical stripe over the eye), a group of 4 marbled hatchets, 3 rummynose, and 3 otocinclus.

My initial plan was to get 2 pair of blue rams as the main attraction here. But, I really need to add a few more rummynose to make them comfortable, I was thinking get the shoal up to 9 or 10. Am I going to be overstocked do you think after adding the rams? Should I just stick to one pair? I tend to overfilter my tank, I've got a big emperor filter on there now filled up with lava rock and some peat, and do 50% changes every week. Advice?

IMHO, you're a bit overstocked...the general rule of thumb with angels is 10 gallons per angel.

if they're young you should be okay..angels will get relatively large.
the waterchanges will help but room is more of an issue ..how big are the angels currently??

angels? he didn't say anything about angels......

Nope no angels...too big for this tank IMO.

Maybe a small school of rummy's (6?) with a pair of rams? I really don't know. Your setup will be similar to mine. I like the combo.

how did I read angels...LOL
