i have an african cichlid tank andall of the fish seem fine except my electric yellow hap.he just hides behind the heater but otherwise he is good.he eats fine an none of the other fish beat him up.is he okay???

He's probably fine, just not used to his new surroundings. Once he gets used to his tankmates and you, he'll probably come out more.
Btw you will probably get better replies if you post in the cichlid forum.

Some fish like to hide behind heater tubes, intake pipes, or anything else they can put between themselves and tyheir surroundings.

Yeah, what he said. Just keep an eye on him, but I think he should be fine in a couple of days.
