Divider off b/w Trimac/FH pair...Now what?

Hi guys,

I took off the divider tonight...they are doing funny movements...swimming together....the males trying to display and stuff....no apparent aggresion can be seen...although the bigger male did try to peck at the female once or twice...how do i noe if its safe to let them be together?? thanx.....btw ill post pics soon....

Remove the divider and watch them very closely for an hour or so. Although i'm sure after only 5 or 10 minutes the male will quickly become too aggressive and you'll have to separate them again.

Let them have brief visits until the female is ready to breed. Always watch closely because they are aggressive fish and damage can be done in a very short amount of time.
