I have a Cinnamon Clown that tries to steal the silversides from my anemone. Should i give him a little bit too? Should i start feeding them live food on occasion?
It wouldn't hurt. In the wild, much of the clown's diet would probably be made of live food, and in the aquarium, feeding a variety of foods can help greatly.
dont bother with brine shrimp unless it is baby (and your clown is goign to ahve a hard time seeing that) or severly souped up with vitamin suppliments. its like junkfood. live food would be a good thing. even brine shrimp if you give the fish the proper nutrients along with it. but jsut dont feed brine. mysid shrimp would work nicely. my moroon is always fat form eating isopods, copepods, and amphiopods off of my glass. i dont think you need live foods, to stop your clown from eating the anenomes food. just feed the clown first.
